Foxtrot Vineyards participated in the 2012 Gold Medal Plates held at the Westin Bayshore hotel in Vancouver November, 16th. Foxtrot had partnered with West Restaurant and the pairing Chef Quang Dang created was simply outstanding. The Yarrow Meadows duck with Foxtrot Vineyard’s apricots was a perfect match for the 2009 Foxtrot Vineyard Pinot Noir. In the end the pairing was awarded a silver medal out of ten competing chef’s pairings. Foxtrot Vineyards would like to thank West Restaurant and Chef Quang Dang for the opportunity as well as the many attendees of this great event. It was good to see some familiar faces from the mailing list at the event as well.
