    Gold Medal Plates

We are proud that our 2010 Foxtrot Vineyard Pinot Noir was selected by Sonoran Resort’s Chef Terry Pichor to pair with his dish for the upcoming Gold Medal Plates competition in Victoria. You can read about the process that Chef Terry and Restaurant Manager Andrea Thomas went through in selecting the wine here. This continues the tradition of Foxtrot Wines participating in Gold Medal Plates and is a further testament to the food friendliness and quality of our wines.

In addition to the above events, Foxtrot Vineyards also has three more wine dinners in the works at three of Vancouver’s top restaurants slated for November. More information will be coming in the next few weeks.

In the Vineyards the Pinot Noir’s are now fully through Veraison and we will be making one last pass to thin out any clusters lagging behind in ripeness. The bird netting will be going up next week to protect our delicious and precious fruit from any damage. At this point we are still on track for an early harvest compared to the last few years. This means our Pinot Noirs should be harvested around the 10th of October.
